2023 saw the inaugural season of the newly formed Hertfordshire Pickleball League, played from the Spring through to the end of September. Formed from eight teams from across the County, the league was highly competitive, although games were played in a friendly atmosphere with the home team providing refreshments.
A presentation evening took place at Batchwood Tennis Centre in St Albans where the West Herts Wizards were presented with the championship trophy. The Wizards B team also performed well, winning 2 matches.
We’re confident that the competition will go from strength to strength with more teams competing as pickleball grows in popularity across Hertfordshire and across the country.
